The Midcoast Community Band was formed in 1986 and has played annually ever since. Rehearsals are Wednesday evenings from 7:00 to 9:00 at the American Legion Hall in Thomaston, Maine. Concert-band musicians of all ages and levels are welcome; an audition is not required.

We perform at local festivals and in parades, and have annual spring, fall, and Christmas concerts. We are an all-volunteer organization that supports the community and often offers scholarships for young musicians.
